The objective they set themselves was to bring innovation to the health sector and give patients the possibility to manage their physiotherapy with total autonomy of time and place, eliminating the need to make an appointment each time.

Solution

By implementing the ReHub digital platform, Top Physio Roma offered patients a new alternative to classic inpatient physiotherapy. During the first months, the remote rehabilitation protocol was applied limited to cases related to knee pathologies (treatment after ACL surgery, arthroscopy, meniscectomy, etc.). 

This pathology hinders mobility during the first part of the rehabilitation program, making it difficult to travel from one's own home to the centers, specifically because of the inability to drive a car or take public transport.

Results

The results were so good that they started treating foot, shoulder and spinal problems as well.

In the first 6 months of 2022, 160 patients were treated with the ReHub technology with a satisfaction level of 4.5/5 and a treatment adherence level of more than 90%. The clinical results obtained are fully comparable to those obtained by patients treated in physiotherapy centers, demonstrating that this is a safe and effective technology.
