According to a report by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, three out of five European workers: have had, have or will have musculoskeletal disorders arising from work. This covers 60% of work-related health problems, going ahead of problems related to stress, depression or anxiety, which are around 16%.

On the other hand, more than 1,710 million people suffer from some type of musculoskeletal problem worldwide, where low back pain is the leading cause of disability in 160 countries, according to the World Health Organization.

For this reason, DyCare launched ReHub healthcare model for insurance companies. This new service will help to reduce recovery time, increase adherence to treatment and reduce rehabilitation costs by up to 50%.

With the clinical data obtained from the platform, it is possible to personalize better the services and health care plans of the policyholders. More than 7,000 patients have recovered with ReHub and major insurers such as DKV and FIATC already trust us. We explain how it works in this video 👇

Telerehabilitation is already helping thousands of users at DKV

DKV has invested €9.4 million in the last four years in developing its digital ecosystem and this year has made a strong commitment to telemedicine by offering its customers the online physiotherapy service through its digital app "Quiero Cuidarme Más'' (I Want to Take Care of Myself More). The online physiotherapy service includes an evaluation session where expert physiotherapists in telerehabilitation treatments of the eVital Digital Clinic assess the patient's conditions to be eligible for telerehabilitation services and through the ReHub platform, personalized treatments are designed for each patient, their progress and level of pain is monitored and followed up through chats and video calls.

On the other side, the patient receives access to the platform where they can see the therapeutic exercises to be performed according to their treatment and a virtual coach, Diana, guides them through the execution of each exercise, correcting their movements if necessary. This helps to motivate the user and, therefore, to recover faster.
